Giovanna N. Givilancz, CPA, MACC

A life-long resident of the Rio Grande Valley, Giovanna received a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Accountancy from The University of Texas-Pan American. She joined Salinas, Allen & Schmitt, L.L.P. in 2007 as a Staff Accountant. Giovanna became a partner of the firm in 2013.

She specializes in tax, assurance engagements, business valuations, and the healthcare and construction related fields. Giovanna is currently the Treasurer for the Weslaco Museum of Local History & Cultural Arts for the 2013-2014 term. She was awarded the Distinguished Alumni award from The University of Texas at Austin's Red McCombs School of Business in 2013. Giovanna is a member of The National Association of Professional Women and was recognized as Women of the Year for Outstanding Leadership and dedication to the Accounting Profession in 2014. She was also awarded Pinnacle Professional of the Year for 2014 from Continental Who's Who. Giovanna is also a 2009-2010 graduate of Leadership Mid Valley.
